We treat:

Severe toothache

Dental pain or toothache usually occurs due to some kind of tooth or gum infection from oral diseases that include Periodontitis, dental abscess and Caries. Our dental team will treat the symptoms of oral disease and carry out x-rays and scans if necessary, to detect the exact cause of your oral pain. Swelling, bleeding of gums, loose teeth and dental abscess are signs of dental caries, infections and gum disease.

Dental trauma

Dental trauma may be due to an accident, assault or injury or through sports and might cause chipped, broken, dislodged, extruded or lost teeth. Make an appointment with our emergency dentist if you suffer any of these. We have different options to help you overcome the discomfort, infection and pain.

Broken or cracked tooth

As well as dental trauma, your teeth may break or crack due to excessive wear and tear. If you do not have treatment for your damaged tooth, you increase the risk of inflammation of the gums and roots around your tooth and that can lead to infections and tooth loss. Broken or cracked teeth can be treated with fillings, veneers, crowns, inlays, composite veneers or dental bonding.

Knocked-out tooth

If a tooth has been knocked out, this is called avulsion. Try and find your knocked-out tooth and put it in a glass of milk so that you can take it with you for dental re-insertion (DO NOT scrub or clean your tooth). If this is not possible, artificial tooth replacement, dental bridge or crown can be used for restoring dental function and structure.

If you chip a tooth, crack your tooth, or even if your tooth is knocked out, come and see us as soon as you can.

Wisdom tooth pain

If you are suffering with pain due to a wisdom tooth, our dental surgeons will evaluate the condition of the wisdom tooth and help with extraction if needed, for improving oral health. Patients are given local anaesthetic before the treatment and possibly provided with suitable sedation to ensure they feel relaxed during the entire procedure.

Dental abscess

A dental abscess can be due to untreated tooth decay. Some symptoms include – swelling of face, nausea and high fever. Book an appointment with our emergency dentist who will give you the proper treatment and prevent further damage to your teeth and gums.

Lost or broken fillings

Just like existing teeth restored teeth can be damaged too. Veneers, crowns, bridges, fillings, implants and dentures can all be broken. We offer emergency and non-emergency dental repair or replacement at our clinic.

Broken or lost caps or crowns

If you have lost or broken a cap or crown, we will be pleased to offer mess free dental scanners to make you a replacement.

Gum infection, swelling, jaw and other pain

Sometimes oral pain is related to the gums or jaw and not specifically to the teeth. When you suffer from periodontal disease, the pain will occur as your teeth become loose and need to be extracted. ANUG or acute gum infections are a condition that an emergency dentist needs to help with.

If you are suffering from Gum infection, swelling, jaw and other pain come and see us as soon as you can.

Bleeding after removing tooth or dental trauma

There can be some bleeding after having teeth extracted. If it continues for a long time or an accident leads to a laceration of any soft tissue of your mouth, then you should apply a cold compress or bite on some gauze to stop the bleeding. In cases of dental trauma, you should visit a dentist without delay.

Severe pain from crowns or fillings for restored teeth

Sometimes, the tooth nerve may suffer from pulpitis or necrosis. In this case, there can be severe pain with a spreading pain sensation and swelling in the area. It is suggested you call for a dentist appointment who may suggest a root canal or tooth extraction.

If you have any of these problems,
then call us on 0207 183 0886 immediately.

Treatments we offer during dental emergency

Even the most nervous patients who come to us find themselves reassured by the expertise and calming manner of our team.

Emergency dentures or express denture repair

A broken denture, or a denture that is cracked or damaged in some way, is a very difficult problem. We see patients for same day appointments to help them when their denture has been broken. Our first class and very experienced dental technicians are very experienced in replacing dentures fast. We offer a service that will see your dentures replaced in record time (1 to 2 days) due to the fact that we have our dedicated dental laboratory and technicians who work seven days a week.

If your denture has broken, see us for a same day replacement.

Root canal treatment

Our dentists can help with root canal therapy to get rid of the bacteria and infection in an attempt to save your tooth. But tooth preservation depends on the extent of the damage caused. There is some small chance of re-infection after root canal treatment. Emergency dental care is needed to lessen the pain and eliminate the infection by performing root canal.

reviews-star.pngHighly recommend Museum Dental Suite. Their work is of the highest calibre, professional and friendly. I'm very thankful they for excellent aftercare advice and for making me relaxed and so well treated. I've recommended them to both my family and friends.

reviews-star.pngI have been undertaking a cosmetic treatment (Invisalign) for around eight months here, off the back of a recommendation of a friend who had the same treatment. The professionalism and perfectionism with which my treatment was delivered was outstanding, as was the general service and were all of the staff I encountered.

My dentist Dr. Wahab Shakir was particularly great, with a friendly, reassuring manner and an eye for detail. He always went above and beyond, without ever being asked.

I'm now almost at the end of my treatment and couldn't be more pleased with how treatment has gone. Given the service and end result I'd also consider it excellent value for money.

Keep up the good work Museum Dental Suites!

reviews-star.pngFirstly what a great dentist, all the staff were friendly and very helpful as this was my first time here.

I had called for an emergency appointment due to a sudden cracked tooth and Dr Wahab Shakir despite the end of day fast approaching (30 minutes till close) he said he would see me.

The treatment was not straight forward due to the crack but Dr Shakir after a lengthy time managed to save the tooth/restore it and prevent what I believe most dentists would have done which install a crown - Thank you!

Highly recommend this dentist and service and I am grateful for not only seeing me within an hour but also staying passed closing time and finally for doing a Stella job.

Marios, my dentist is extremely patient and cares about your dental care and the service you receive. Just received my new dentures and they have been done to a very high standard and am very pleased. I have nothing but praise for the staff and the treatment/service I received.

reviews-star.pngBest dentist ever hands down. Least painful and least scary experiences here (I'm usually really scared of going to the dentist, and even find the initial anaesthetic injection painful) - they really care about the patient, and making sure you're comfortable, results are also fab. Seriously can't imagine a better dentist!
