We Accept New Patients. New Patients Private dental check ups with Dr Lia and Dr Mohsin ONLY £55
We all know how important it is to create a good first impression, and one of the first things people are likely to notice about you is your smile – so taking good care of your teeth is a must.
Looking after your oral health with regular brushing and flossing is one way to keep your teeth looking great, while regular dental examinations will also help to ensure your teeth are in good health.
Here at Museum Dental Suites , our team of highly qualified, professional dentists are here to provide you with the best level of care for you and your pearly whites. We offer a broad range of dental services – from routine check-ups to cosmetic work – and our complete 27-point dental examination will cover every aspect of your dental health.
It doesn’t matter if you’re visiting our suites for the first time or are a regular patient – at every dental check, we carry out a complete examination to ensure nothing is missed regarding the health of your teeth. That’s why we’ve created our unique 27-point risk assessment.
Each appointment begins with a careful dental examination. The dentist will look at each of your teeth individually, checking the condition of the enamel, looking for signs of decay, assessing any plaque or tartar build-up and looking for signs of staining or discolouration. They will also carefully check your gums for bleeding, pockets, infections or signs of gum disease.
We will ask you about your general health, including questions about your diet, smoking and alcohol use – all of which can have an impact on your dental health – and discuss any problems you may have had with your teeth, mouth or gums since your last visit. A thorough examination would include detecting any early signs of mouth cancer.
Depending on our findings, we may also recommend your dental check-up includes x-rays of your teeth. This gives us a better indication of what’s going on between your teeth, inside them and below the gum line. Showing any bone loss and is an essential tool in spotting early signs of potential problems.
How often you visit your dentist will depend on a number of factors, including your current oral health situation, any previous conditions and how prone your teeth are to problems such as decay and tartar build-up.
It’s generally recommended that patients get a dental examination once every six months, along with a thorough cleaning from a dental hygienist – which will include treatments such as scaling and polishing your teeth. However, your dentist will also tell you if your situation requires care more or less often. This is all part of the risk assessment we carry out, individually tailoring your health needs.
Of course, routine visits are only part of the reason you may need to visit your dentist for a 27-point examination, and if you’re experiencing any pain, soreness or have other concerns about your oral health, you might need to schedule an urgent dental appointment.
As experts in providing high-quality dental care, the team at Museum Dental Suites has extensive experience and we are committed to building long-lasting and trusting relationships with our clients.
